“Daring greatly means the courage to be vulnerable. It means to show up and be seen. To ask for what you need. To talk about how you’re feeling. To have the hard conversations.”

Do you need help finding direction or changing your path in life?
-
Has a life-altering event tipped you off balance, and you help to get back on track?
-
Are you feeling overwhelmed by unshakeable stress or anxiety and long for someone who truly understands how you feel?
There’s good news. Individual Counseling can help!
What is Counseling?
While counseling – or “therapy,” as some people may call it – looks a bit different for everyone, depending on their own unique circumstances, the concept is the same: You work with a specialized professional who is trained to provide a safe, compassionate, and confidential space to experience increased self-awareness, growth, and ultimately, healing.
How Do I Know if I Would Benefit from Individual Counseling?
Individual Counseling can be beneficial for a variety of reasons: to work through past trauma, to rise above anxiety and/or depression, to cope with major life changes, and to gain greater self-awareness. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed with life, stuck with challenges you can’t seem to overcome, or needing extra support on an issue you no longer want to face alone, I strongly encourage you to find a good counselor.
In What Ways Can Therapy Help Me?
- You can gain new insights and understanding about yourself, as you explore your needs, emotions, and motivations. This information can then help you make sense of old negative life patterns and develop healthier strategies in your daily life.
- You will learn techniques and strategies to manage anxiety, depression, self-criticism, and other overwhelming distorted thoughts and emotions. You may even clear out irrational negative beliefs that hold you back through EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy) trauma processing. Click here to learn more.
- You will gain clarity and a more accurate, positive view of yourself. The irrational beliefs and lies that you have told yourself will start to disappear as you heal from the past.
- You will uncover underlying root causes for what you’re feeling and thinking.
- Your relationships will improve because you will begin to feel more confident, thus allowing yourself to break free from the shackles of shame and naturally connect better with others.
- You will feel empowered. You can start to take more risks, live outside your comfort zone, and set goals for your life that you never thought were possible in the past.
- You will start to take back control of yourself and where you’re going, and the possibilities will be limitless.
We won’t just “talk” about your problems; we’ll overcome them together.
